I do agree that they are a lot of different nationalities at Puchong. Just look at the daily morning roll-call of workers at the Construction site at Setia Walk & IOI construction sites and we are surrounded by the people from the United Nation. I wonder if we can request that the SP Setia and IOI Developers to take the lead not only to develop and sell good township properties but to also take up the responsibilites to control the vast influx of diverse labourers at the construction sites to create a safe and secured township too.

We cannot put the total responsibilities on the Police. Safety & Security are the Ultimate responsibilites of Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody just like below:

You’ve heard the story about Anybody, Nobody, Somebody, and Everybody? An important job had to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.Only if we can find anybody to do it.

So those Anybody, Nobody, Somebody, and Everybody at Pusat Bandar Puchong, Wawasan Puchong & Bandar Puteri Puchong, DO PARTICIPATE IN CRIME PREVENTION COLLECTIVELY AND ACTIVELY. REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES, CARS AND PEOPLE TO THE POLICE AT Bandar Puteri Police Station: 03-80632222. Please watch out for each others.

Our appeal to the World Class Developers like SP Setia and IOI to take the lead in their corporate social responsibilities too, NOT just Guarded & Gated Communities when crime looms at large.

No point calling up Bandar Puteri Police Station. They are twice useless and rowdy. I did call them about illegal fireworks in my neighbourhood during CNY, in return they threatened me with "Apa lu takut sangat, apa nama u? Nanti saya akan hantar peronda". They did not turn up. The whole night just like second world war with lots of bombardment sound and my newborn baby can't sleep, scared and keep crying. I thought they will arrest them for those who set off fireworks on the middle of the road. After that, I called Bukit Aman (Rakan Cop) to complain about the goddamn rowdy cop. Next time, I will record all the conversation and put it up on youtube. Apart from that, they set up roadblock on Lebuh Puteri. One of my friends was caught red-handed on mobile phone and he said the case could be settled with RM 50 rasuah. And my fren gave. Tell you what they twice as useless.

World class Developers need to be proactive in crime prevention. don't just hand over the problems to the local council. That is quite irresponsible and doesn't fulfilled Corporate Social Responsibility.

Gated and guarded communities are mushrooming. But do we want to be in such environments. I'm sure there are both sides to the gated and guarded communities. All of us shouldn't have such fear, the one should be fearful are the those committing crimes. But, heck, is Puchong safe. After all the awards won by the Balai Polis Puchong, why are we left as though we are very vulnerable to crimes.
