3 years, 12 months ago at Jalan Pantai, Petaling Jaya on 22 Jun 2009 reported by Grissom

TWO masked men armed with pistols robbed a businessman and his family of about RM600,000 in cash and jewellery at their bungalow home in Jalan Pantai here at 4.30am today.

The 48-year-old businessman untied himself and contacted the police at about 6am, he said.

The robbers struck at a time when the security guard was off-duty and surprised the businessmen and his family as they slept, he told a news conference at his office here.

"We believe the robbers knew the work schedule of the security guard, that he would be off duty on Sunday, and they also knew their way inside the single-storey bungalow," he said. Police had detected finger prints of the suspects, he said.
