My sister who works as Sales Executive at company selling photo machines. She was tricked to meet at Wisma Genting and her iPhone was then borrowed by the supposedly potential customer and, ran away missing and no where to be seen.
The incident started with a man called her office sales line, mentioned that he is keen to order photocopier for his company based in Puchong. He is indian in his 60s. He described himself as Singaporean working in Malaysia. He convinced her by saying Singaporean are all good people. Later someone who identified herself as the wife of the snatch thief called my sister handphone and asked to speak to her husband, ie. suspect. Once my sister passed the phone to him, he then tried to find ways to distance away and ran away.
After returning to office, she came to know from her boss that he has heard such incident happening to his business partner too. So for the sales people out there, be wary of fishy calls and never borrow your handphone to new prospect you never met before. Losing handphone may not be a big deal but the personal information you have in there will certainly land you big trouble later.
i like share to my friend.
