Blue Harley Davidson Stolen in Johor Bahru
A Singapore registered blue Harley Davidson (FBE 4812Y) was stolen within 30 minutes along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Susur 4, JB on 27th March 2011. It was parked in front of AZ Saloon and went missing at around 3pm . A police complaint was lodged immediately at the JB Central Station. 11 days after the bike was stolen on 7th April, we received a call from a person called Rizal in JB who says he has some leads on the thief and will be able to help locate the bike. He requested for us to go to JB immediately to meet up and discuss further. We arrived in JB from Singapore at about 2:30am and went to meet Rizal with the escort of 2 detectives from the D6 unit from JB Central Station. Rizal was with another man named "Zorro" who claims he is a police officer and wants to help find the bike. The 2 detectives then spoke in length with Zorro on ways to proceed further. After much talking, we were not told of any further action or plans. We left about 3am but the 2 detectives, Rizal and Zorro continued discussing. The next day, the whole incident was reported to the Investigation Officer assigned to this case - Sergeant Krishna. After many follow-ups with Sergeant Krishna, we were simply informed that the investigation is taking place and no further updates are given. As a civilian, we are unsure and comfused of what to make up of this whole situation. The police is not giving us any information despite having made some serious developments on the case since 2 weeks ago when the bike was stolen. The 2 detectives and 'Zorro' also refused to reveal their real names. In a situation like this, where do we seek justice and who do we believe? Since we have little faith in the enforcement officers, we seek help from our fellow Malaysians. Please post if you have any information on this bike or how to escalate this matter to higher authority if we are dealing with a major syndicate.

Did you clarify with IO why actually you were called for discusion ? what information did they collect from you ?
If the investigation is going on and there is leads , what is the progress of the case .
Normally lodging complaint to police is just for the sake of doing ? chances of getting back your bike is remote.
In case the culprit is cought , it can be just because he is idiot not because police is smart .
malaysian police have massive of badlock cases . where if one day the thief is cought they will relate all the bike stolen case to this idiot to reduce the badlock cases.
You have the rights to know the real name of police officer .
you can demand for that but you can't demand for case solution . As thousands of people cases still remain unanswered here .
i will try to find out for you where to raise complaint and how to exert pressure on IO officer to give priority to resolve the case .
