Caught stealing on CCTV

KUCHING: A woman ran away with unpaid goods worth about RM900 from a shop last Sunday.
The incident happened around 2pm at Jalan Rubber, where the woman pretended to be one of the customers choosing items in the shop.
When the shop workers were not looking, she grabbed the chance to pick some of the items and quickly ran off into a car waiting outside and fled.
However, all was not lost as her action was recorded by the CCTV installed inside the shop and the staff managed to get the car plate number too.
A police report has been made and investigations are believed to be underway.
