Kota Kinabalu: The Magistrate's Court on Tuesday postponed to Aug 25 the case of a 23-year-old college student charged with murdering his brother three months ago.
Magistrate Herlina Muse set the date for Chaw Cheng Kiong, following an application by the prosecution for another mention date pending the outcome of the chemist's report and the post-mortem report.
The prosecution had, on the previous mention date, informed the court that they had received a medical report from Hospital Mesra in Bukit Padang which stated that Chaw is fit to enter a plea.
Chaw is accused of killing final year Masters' student, Chaw Cheng Hong, 26, with a knife at 4.30pm on March 30 this year in a house at Taman Reservoir, Luyang.
