POKOK SENA: A cleaner had the shock of her life when she stumbled upon the body of a newborn baby boy in the toilet of a boarding school here yesterday.
The 2-day-old baby, with its umbilical cord still intact, was left on top of the cistern of a toilet for boys.
Kota Star district Criminal Investigations Department chief Deputy Superintendent Fiesal Libertus Abdullah said it appeared that the baby, measuring about 23cm in length, had been left on the cover of the cistern in a hurry.
He said the baby was believed to have been dumped in the toilet shortly after delivery.
