MIRI: A family of four was held up at gunpoint by four robbers before being relieved of cash and jewellery at their house near Luak Bay, about 4km from here. Miri police chief Assistant Commissioner Jamaludin Ibrahim said a foreigner, in his late 60s, lodged a report on the robbery at 8.15pm on Wednesday.
He said the man reported that masked robbers, one of whom was armed with a gun, suddenly barged into his house. The man was injured after being hit by one of the robbers.
Jamaludin, however, declined to reveal the victim's nationality or losses. -- Bernama
