Girl beaten up for 'flirting'

KUALA TERENGGANU: A 14-year-old student was beaten up by 12 schoolmates after she was accused of flirting with the boyfriend of one of her assailants. According to a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the victim was in the toilet when she was confronted by a Form Two student and her friends last Tuesday.
The victim was allegedly slapped and punched by the the girl which resulted in the others joining in the attack.
The assault was stopped by two teachers who heard the commotion.
The victim was then told to lodge a report at the Batu Rakit police station.
