PETALING JAYA: A unit in Kelana Impian Apartment located in Sungai Way has been broken into by robbers, believed to have entered the house during daytime while all the occupants went out to work. The padlock was missing, but no signs of force or breaking into the metal grill and wooden front door can be found. It was believed that the robbers gained entrance using a master key. The rooms were ransacked and all valuables were stolen. Among the stolen goods were the car key of one of the occupant, which was later used by the robbers in an attempt to steal the car on the same day during midnight. Their attempt was discovered in time by the car owner who was watching over the car in fear of burglary, but failed to locate the robbers. The robbers are believed to be the occupants or friends/relatives of the occupants in the same apartment, which enabled them to try out the alarm (to unlock the car) from higher floor but remained hidden from public eyes.
