I got robbed by bikers at Maybank, Kelana Park View
I got robbed while I was trying to deposit cash at Maybank Cash Deposit Machine at Kelana Park View. I was alone and there was nobody and no security guard around. 1 guy came in with some sharp object pointing at my back, all I can see from the mirror was a guy with helmet and scarf on the face, 2 other guys guarding the entrance. Took my money and ran off. This was around 11:30pm, Saturday, 8 Aug 2009. I was lucky enough that nothing happened to me, beside my rent money being taken away, I wasn't hurt and thankfully enough they didn't take other things like my phone, etc. My guess is the robber been waiting and eyeing on their prey for sometime, waiting for a lone person to come in doing cash deposit or withdrawal. And it so happened to be me :(.
How much is your rent?
I am sure you have reported to the nearest Police Station ... I am glad nothing else happened to you ...
here's the ironic part about that maybank in kelana jaya: it's right behind the kelana jaya police station.

Fortunately you're ok as 3 robbers are much scarier than one. We should be wary or avoid going to ATM late at night. Or the least is go where it is crowded like shopping malls or petrol stations.
Yes , isnt' it sad that the police station is just a couple of blocks away sigh where do all roads lead to...
I guess this will be blamed on the Africans too.Truly unfortunate but at least you came out of it alive and well.Money is nothing compared to your life.Obviously every crime that is committed here in Malaysia are blamed on the foreigners and mainly Africans.Malaysians should open their eyes and realize that the problem is not with the foreigners.Its with the locals.Only the locals can have the mind to pull off this kind of thing.Anyway sorry my dear and thanks to God too for saving you.
Digjital, sorry to hear that. Did u report police? Thankfully nothing hurt on you. Wondering does the bank's cctv capture the incident? Maybe should check with Maybank.
