Man killed in fight over a woman

PENANG: A gang fight, triggered by a woman who allegedly two-timed her boyfriend, led to the man being beaten to death in Bayan Lepas early Thursday.

In the incident, Wan Ahmad Faizal Wan Abdul Rahman, 33, and a friend were attacked by a 10-man gang brandishing helmets near a shopping complex.

The ice-cream seller was warded at the Penang Hospital where he succumbed to head injuries at 9.20am more than three hours after the attack.

His unidentified friend who sustained head and body injuries, has lodged a police report.
