6 months, 3 weeks ago at Lagoon Perdana Apartment, Petaling Jaya on 10 Jan 2010 reported by Grissom

PETALING JAYA: A bank manager, who was waiting with his wife for the lift to their apartment, was slashed and stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant.

Andy Teoh, 48, from Klang, and his wife, 38, had just returned from dinner at a nearby shopping mall and were waiting at Lagoon Perdana Apartments’ basement car park at 10.45pm yesterday when the attack occurred.

The assailant was standing behind the couple, pretending to wait for the lift too when he suddenly slashed Teoh’s face with a sickle.

Teoh tried to run away but was then stabbed in the neck as his wife looked on in horror.

He staggered for about 50m before collapsing. The assailant then fled on foot through a fence that surrounded the apartment.

Teoh died before an ambulance arrived
