Mask intruder robs clerk

A masked intruder armed with a knife robbed a clerk of a gold chain worth RM500 at her house in Kampung Tok Ris, here, on Thursday night.
The woman in her 20s had just come down the stairs of her house when the man covered her mouth and held a kitchen knife to her neck before yanking off the chain. It is believed the thief had entered the house through the kitchen window.
In another incident earlier, a 63-year-old retiree lost RM6,000 worth of jewellery when his house in Kampung Kedai Manir was ransacked between 5pm and 7pm.
Among the items stolen were a gold chain, two diamond rings and a pair of branded watches.
