My grandfather deadly robbery on 3rd May 2008

On 3rd May 2008, my grandfather was robbed and hit by a local Indian guy with a big stick from his back and he fell into a fire.

Fortunately, a relative came to his rescue. He has 1st and 2nd degree burns on 40% of his body, mainly upper body. His fingers, palms and arms are severely burned as well as his face and neck. His ears are pretty much gone. It's affected his eyesights too. His head congested.

A week later his best friend is robbed and found dead in a drain nearby his house.

He's warded in Intensive Care Unit for 1 and a half month before he was allowed to come home. He can't walk and he can't take care of himself for many months.

Then last year June and this year January he is diagnosed with stroke, pneumonia, lung infection etc and passed away on the 17th February 2011 aged 82.

He's a great father and a great grandfather who loves us very much and always sacrifice himself for the family. He doesn't depend solely on us and he spent the rest of his life planting and taking care of various vegetables and fruits in the small piece of land and sold them door-to-door for living...

He taught us everything to become a great person... He is the reason I'm here and I feel very lucky to have him as my grandfather... Thank You for everything ~Amitabha~
