Mr Lee, 41 stated that on the 9th April around 2pm, he received a call in his office, the caller address himself as Ah Long saying that Mr Lee's son owed them RM50,000 and now his son is in their hands. Mr Lee heard someone was being beaten and screaming for help but he was not sure is that his son cos it was very noisy.
The Ah Long ask him to remit $ immediately and hang up the phone. After a while, they call again and ask him to remit whatever cash he has.
Mr Lee stay calm after the conversation then he start to call to find his son. Thankfully his son is not being kidnapped, it was just a scam call. He make a police report thereafter.
