On the run over rape of 4 kids

BESUT: For 15 years, three sisters suffered in silence at the hands of their pervert father. He raped and molested them from the time they were 13, 7 and 12.

The three, now aged 27, 23 and 21, only escaped his clutches either after they got married or moved out of the house here. The molests and rapes took place late at night when the other family members were asleep.

After the three were gone, the father, beginning April, started laying his hands on the youngest of the four sisters.

But little did he imagine his perverse ways were coming to end.

For two months, he raped the 15-year-old girl.

When she could not take the abuse any more, she confided in her mother about it.

When the mother confronted the 47-year-old suspect, she got a mouthful and was told to keep quiet or face a beating.

The victim, however, could not follow her mother's behaviour and keep quiet.

She became depressed and having had enough, found the courage to report the rapes to the police.

State CID chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Fauzi Abduri said police had recorded statements from all the four sisters on Aug 22.

He added that the father had gone into hiding adding that a police team was tracking him and he was confident he would be nabbed soon.
