Purse attempt snatch near Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur

My wife and I were walking from Hard Rock Cafe around 130 PM towards the direction of Beach Cafe. There is much construction so a Scooter with two people riding on it tried to snatch my wifes purse while we were walking through the Prudential parking lot one block away from Hard Rock Cafe. My wife screamed and I grabbed her along with her purse and the scooter speed away. This was in front of the security guard who did nothing. We asked if he say the purse snatch attempt and he said yes. I told him to call the Police and he told me to walk across the street to the Tourist Police. We went there and waited an hour and nobody showed up.

The building has a security camera right in front of the building. It would be so easy to pull the security tape and get the license number. Guess maybe the security guard is paid off also since he is not interested.

I hope sometime someone pushes these little cowards off the scooter. My wife is Pregant and guess an easy target.
