Raped in forest by stranger

KUALA TERENGGANU: A 21-year-old speech impaired woman who travelled here to meet a friend ended up being raped by a stranger on Sunday morning.
The victim, from Johor, met the stranger at the Kuala Terengganu City Council bus terminal around 5am and he offered to take her around town on a motorcycle.
About 10am, he took her to a forest near Taman Desa, Pusu Tiga, where he raped her before fleeing the scene.
Kuala Terengganu police chief Assistant Commissioner Zamri Shamsuddin said the woman managed to get help from a villager to contact her father who came here and lodged a police report on Wednesday.
