KUANTAN: A 26-year-old woman could only watch helplessly as two youths opened the door of her car before speeding off on a motorcycle with her handbag containing cash and other belongings totalling RM20,300 on Friday.
The clerk had withdrawn RM20,000 cash for her company at a bank in Jalan Mahkota here before pulling over to buy food at a stall at 2.30pm. As she was alighting from her car, the duo struck.
State Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner T. Narenasagaran said the youths were believed to have been monitoring her movement after she came out of the bank.
