RM7 million worth of jewellery stolen from pawn shop

KANGAR: An Islamic pawn shop in Taman Sena Indah near here lost jewellery worth some RM7 and RM68,000 in cash during a break-in in the early hours of today.
Kangar police chief Acting Supt Abdul Rahman Mohd Noordin said police were alerted about the incident at 12.30pm and had formed a task force to hunt down the culprits.
