Robbed by fake carpet maintenance crew

A few guys pretending to be carpet maintenance crew came into the office during lunch hour when there were few people left in the office. They claimed that the carpet maintenance activity involves using carpet glue which has a strong odor, and advised the staff to leave the office. When the staff noticed something was amiss and contacted her manager for clarification, the fake carpet maintenance crew quickly packed up and left. Then the staff realized that they had also stolen some of the office laptops.
