Robbery during "nallungu" ceremony

The robbery took place during a "nallungu" or bridegroom preparation ceremony performed by Hindus before a wedding ceremony. The crime occurred between 6:30am to 6:45am. 7 to 8 robbers, entered the house from the front, armed with parangs, knives & guns held up the ceremony and robbed the "nallungu" party of the jeweleries. Even though Kulim police were alerted by neighbors, at the onset, when they saw robbers enter the house, the police "conveniently" arrived after the robbers had left.
