Two security guards were murdered by scrap-metal robbers in a factory in Batu 6, Jalan Bukit Kemuning, Section 34, here yesterday.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the two guards, identified as local Supil Rasban, 75, and Nepalese Gangga Bahadur, 32, died of head injuries.
He said in the 5.30am incident, Supil was in the guard house, while Gangga was making his rounds with a guard dog. Hasnan said initial investigation showed that the robbers had gained entry into the factory by cutting the fence and later drove in their lorry.
The stolen iron rods were valued about RM4,000.
