1 year, 8 months ago at Jln Genting Klang on 11 Oct 2011 reported by dt

A doctor's personal assistant was shot in the neck and robbed by two men on a motorcycle outside a clinic in Jalan Genting Klang near here.

The 25-year-old man was rushed to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspects fled with a sling bag during the 5.30pm incident yesterday.

It is learnt that the man was standing outside the clinic when he was approached by a man wearing a helmet.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Zakaria Pagan said the robber whipped out a gun and fired a shot at the victim before taking the sling bag.

“He then ran towards a waiting accomplice on a motorcycle.

“Based on information gathered so far, there were only documents in the bag and no valuables,” he said.

ACP Zakaria said they were checking if the documents were of any importance.
