Snatch Theft Attempt

My friend and I was walking along Jalan Song Thian Cheok when a motorcyclist passed by beside us at the junction of Jalan Song Thian Cheok and Jalan Bukit Mata Kuching, and he attempted to snatch my friend's handbag. As a result of the snatch, she fell down and sustained injury to her head and legs. Locals in the area then told us that snatch thieves are common in this place.
