Teenage girl robbers take RM900 valuables from salesgirl
A 28-year-old salesgirl was robbed of valuables worth RM900 by three teenage girls and a boy here on Monday.
The salesgirl was walking alone along Jalan Wong Ah Jang at 7.15pm when she was approached by the 14 year olds.Two of them then grabbed her hands while the other two snatched her gold chain and handphone before fleeing.
The victim, who suffered minor injuries on the neck, sought outpatient treatment at Tengku Ampuan Afzan hospital here before lodging a police report.
Pahang CID chief Assistant Commissioner T. Narenasagaran said police went to the area and caught two girls who were believed to be part of the gang. "We believed the suspects had been keeping a close watch on their victims before carrying out the attack in a group. We are still tracing the rest of the gang members," he said.
