Uncle molests teenage niece
HULU TERENGGANU: A 42-year-old security guard is in police custody for molesting his teenage niece.
The incident took place last Thursday while the 15-year-old girl was washing clothes in the bathroom of her house in Kampung Jongok Star, Ajil, near here where she lived with the suspect and her grandmother.
State Criminal Investigations Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Fauzi Abduri said about 10am, her uncle who is a bachelor, suddenly entered the bathroom and started hugging her and fondling her breasts.
The girl then made a dash to her bedroom but the uncle cornered her before molesting her further. The girl managed to escape and sought help from her grandmother who was outside the house.
Accompanied by her grandmother, the girl lodged a report at the Ajil police station at 3.10pm the same day. The suspect was arrested at the same house an hour later.
