Woman killed in quarrel

LUMUT: A quarrel between two neighbours in Segari here on Saturday night left a woman dead with a stab wound in the chest.
V. Kalarani, who quarrelled with a man outside the house, was stabbed with a machete by a teenager, said Ipoh deputy police chief Supt Shaharuddin Abdullah.
He said Kalarani's family members then set upon the man and the teenager, injuring them.
Kalarani died on the way to Manjung Hospital while the man and the teenager were warded at the hospital. -- Bernama
