KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a woman, believed to have been murdered, was found wrapped in a blanket and with her mouth taped in a wardrobe in her house in Pinggiran Ukay.
The body of Fazlina Ahmad, 39, was found by police yesterday after they received a call from her friend who had failed to contact her.
Selangor CID deputy chief ACP Omar Mamah said police received the call at 1.30pm but only managed to enter the double-storey terrace house at about 8pm.
“Upon opening the wardrobe which had been sealed with tape, police found the woman’s body,” he said, adding that there was no one else in the house at the time.
It is learnt that the woman had been living there with her two daughters, aged five and seven years, and a maid, but they were not around as they were with the victim’s husband at his family home.
Omar said investigations found that there was no forced entry into the house and they believed that the motive was not robbery. — Bernama
